We aim to celebrate, promote, educate and increase the representation of women working in the arts, entertainment and live performance industry. International Women's Music Summit was created for BIPOC women and femmes and and non- binary music professionals working in the genres of hip hop, r&b, soul, reggae, cultural, indigenous and electronic music. We provide professional industry advise by reputable delegates in a safe space and learning environment for musicians from marginalized communities. The initiative was created by way of an all female online radio show "Queens of the Game" (2012 - 2016) hosted by Gabrielle Rubaine aka Taboo and in 2015 transformed into a all female cypher and funding workshop. All this with the goal to educate, promote, develop artists to become export ready and help build a strong and inclusive Canadian Music infrastructure.
